Did Chris Brown Lie About Losing His Passport On NYE?
Chris Brown had to cancel his New Year’s Eve performance in the Philippines, and the media reported that it was because he had misplaced or lost his passport, and was therefore unable to travel. Some bloggers even had some laughs at Chris’s expense, believing that he’d be foolish enough to misplace his passport to the detriment of a scheduled performance. Well, it looks like a lost passport wasn’t to blame for the cancelled concert after all.
Movie News Guide reports that the “Loyal” singer supposedly cancelled the Manila performance for Karrueche Tran. If that’s true, then it means he lied about losing his passport to get out of performing for hundreds of fans all so he could spend New Year’s with his on-again-off-again-on-again girlfriend. There’s no doubt that his fans were disappointed enough to believe that he’d misplaced his passport, but if he actually blew off the important obligation of a live performance for a night with his girlfriend, then some of his fans may be incredibly upset. Of course, who’s to know if any of these latest reports are true, and not just more celeb gossip?
As The Christian Post reports, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have gotten back together again. In fact, the cancellation of his NYE performance in Manila came just days after the two reconciled. Youth Health reports that Tran is pregnant, which may or may not be true. If Tran is indeed pregnant, that would be reason enough for someone to cancel their pre-arranged New Year’s plans — especially if she revealed the pregnancy in the context of getting back together with the R&B singer. Lately all of the drama surrounding the R&B singer has focused on his relationship drama with Karrueche Tran, so it’s truly no surprise to see headlines accusing him of cancelling his Manila concert to appease the woman.
Nonetheless, celebrity gossip is rarely true. If it was, Brown and Tran would be married by now and Rihanna would be crying in her pillow every single day. It should be noted that neither Brown or Tran have addressed rumors of pregnancy or whether or not he lied about losing his passport.
