Fans can watch the India vs. Australia cricket match live online and see whether the Indian team can end the series on a high note.
Australia took the first two Test matches of the series and looked strong in doing so, but India managed to win some momentum back with a draw in the third Test. The teams will now meet again for the fourth and final Test.
Action in the fourth Test kicks off Monday at 10:30 a.m. local time (11:30 p.m. GMT, previous day) from Sydney.
Fans who watch the India vs. Australia cricket match live online will see whether Australia can overcome the loss of a key player. Mitchell Johnson was suffering a nagging hamstring injury, so team officials decided to nix him for the series.
“Mitchell had some right hamstring soreness during the Boxing Day Test and we have been closely monitoring his recovery since that match but feel he has not fully recovered.” the Cricket Australia physiotherapist, Alex Kountouris, said. “As such, he will not play in the upcoming Sydney Test match. We expect him to recover in time to play a part in the upcoming tri-series against England and India.”
Coach Darren Lehmann said it was also important to keep Mitchell healthy for the upcoming World Cup.
“Mitchell is an important part of our plans for the remainder of our summer and we want him 100% right so won’t be taking any risks with him. We believe it is best for Mitchell to take this opportunity to freshen up and get his body fully fit ahead of the tri-series.”
