For Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting, New Year’s Eve will always be special. This day last year, they were married in an elegant ceremony which saw Cuoco walk down the aisle in a pink Vera Wang dress. Cuoco — now Cuoco-Sweeting, as evidenced by the opening credits on her show The Big Bang Theory — took to Instagram to mark her and Ryan’s one-year wedding anniversary.
She showed off the un-traditional dress and attached the caption, “[a] special pic of my veil that not many got to see,” with the hashtag “dream wedding.” The glee on Kaley’s face as she grasped a matching bouquet of flowers is noticeable even through the thin veil. Cuoco also chose understated jewelry and a neutral-colored manicure.
Kaley also posted a shot with her husband Ryan Sweeting. The couple are seen dancing on their wedding day. Cuoco-Sweeting expressed her continuing love for Ryan with the photo caption.
“One year ago today I married someone who truly changed my life. Ryan, you are kind, gentle, patient, giving, silly, and the most loving creature on earth. You are my everything. Happy 1 year anniversary my love.”
Kaley has posted several shots with her and Ryan lately. She recently had sinus surgery and credits him with helping her through her recovery. Cuoco-Sweeting, now 29, was a child actor with a regular role on 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter opposite John Ritter before being cast in The Big Bang Theory in 2007. Sweeting is a professional tennis player.
A recent Redbook article revealed that Kaley and Ryan knew each other for only three months before getting engaged. In the accompanying interview, Cuoco-Sweeting told Redbook she does not consider herself a feminist.
“I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around… I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that’s because I’ve never really faced inequality.”
She went on to say that she cooks for Ryan five nights a week and loves it. As for young girls who are still taking salacious pictures with their iPhones after her own private photos were hacked, Cuoco has this to say:
“Get a Polaroid!”
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting recently opened up to Domaine Home about the great lengths she goes to decorate her house for the holidays, giving her and Ryan’s living space a classy and festive atmosphere.
