Two Sets Of Twin Girls Utah: Ashley Gardner Welcomes Two Sets Of Twins, Calls Them ‘Quad Squad’

On Dec. 28, two sets of twin girls were born in Utah, 12 weeks before they were due. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the four girls were born to Ashley and Tyson Gardner, who became internet sensations after a photo of Ashley’s face after she learned that she was pregnant with four babies was posted online and went viral.

After years of trying to get pregnant, the Gardners decided to try IVF. The couple was overjoyed with the news that they were going to become parents, but they were shocked to learn that they would be welcoming four babies in the new year. The girls, however, didn’t wait, and came in 2014 (which isn’t uncommon with multiples).

The two sets of twin girls born in Utah all weighed around two pounds. The little ones are an absolute blessing for Ashley and Tyson, who have shared their journey on Facebook.

According to Fox News, Ashley and Tyson chose to share their story publicly, and have received positive feedback from thousands of people who learned about them through the viral reaction that Ashley had after having an ultrasound.

“I have been through eight years, and IVF was my last chance. It was my last step, and I wanted it documented, no matter what the outcome was. When I decided to publicly share my story of infertility, I realized it was nothing to be ashamed about,” Ashley said.

The two sets of twin girls born in Utah were presented to the world in a special interview with Today. The four girls, lovingly referred to as the “quad squad,” will remain in intensive care for the next 10 weeks. In the meantime, the Gardners are doing their best to share some special first moments with their girls. TLC has also been working with the family to create a television special. It is unknown if this will be a series or just a couple of episodes, but fans are super excited to watch Ashley and Tyson enjoy their little girls, from pregnancy through their new home life.

If you can’t wait until TLC airs the new show, you can follow the Gardner’s journey on Facebook. There have been a few pictures, and a couple of video updates posed on the page since the birth of the two sets of identical twins. Doctors say that the girls are doing well, and while they aren’t “out of the woods” just yet, they all seem to be thriving.
