Teresa Giudice Reportedly In Denial About Forthcoming 15-Month Prison Sentence

Teresa Giudice’s recent “self-destructive” behavior is a mystery to her former crisis counselor Wendy Feldman, but, according to her, it shows that her former client is “in denial” about the 15-month prison sentence she is due to start in a few days time.

As reported by the Daily Mail today, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been flaunting pictures of herself on vacation at an exclusive ski resort during her last few days as a free woman.

Wendy Feldman knows a thing or two about Teresa Giudice, having worked with her extensively over the past few years. As she revealed to The Mail, in no uncertain terms,

“I think Teresa is the the most unique person I’ve ever worked with. So many of my clients have had a difficult nature. But she’s the only one I’ve been unable to get through to – and she’s the one I tried the hardest with.”

So Teresa Giudice is hard to work with, no surprise there. But what about when she is led to her cell and the reality of her situation dawns on her? According to Feldman,

“If she continues to be in denial, she won’t even know she’s there, but she could actually be one of those who does hard time – she could make herself miserable the entire time. Or she could actually learn something and come out for the better.”

Initially, Teresa didn’t ask for a specific jail. However, she then chose to appeal to the court to go to a half way house and do community service followed by a brief time in Danbury.

As Feldman divulged, “The half way house was declined and the community service looks absolutely foolish now, she didn’t do one damn thing in the past three months. It looks like she didn’t mean anything.”

There’s no doubt that life behind bars, especially for over a year at least, would be a difficult reality for anyone to come to terms with. Will celebrity millionaire Teresa Giudice be able to deal with being incarcerated and away from her family?

Only time will tell.
