Christopher Millette: 7th Grade Science Teacher Arrested For Alleged Child Molestation In Fullerton

Christopher Millette, a middle school science teacher in Placentia, California, has been arrested for sexually molesting a child, authorities allege. According to CBS Local, Christopher Millette, also known as Christopher James Millette, sexually penetrated a girl under the age of 10. Fullerton police became aware of the situation after they were notified with a complaint.

Records show that Millette, 36, is a seventh-grade science teacher at Valadez Middle School Academy located at 161 East La Jolla Street in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Fullerton police made the arrest on December 31 at around 12 p.m., and charged the teacher with “lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14,” according to the Fullerton Police press release. He is currently in the Orange County Jail. The victim knows Christopher Millette, but is not a student at Valadez Middle School Academy. As of now, law enforcement officials have not found any victims from the school.

According to the OC Register, Police Chief Dan Hughes states.

“This case is not related to the school. There are no known victims associated with his employment.”

Local community residents of Placentia are glad the police made the arrest, and hope to keep Millette off the street if found guilty. Here are some of their sentiments.

A former student of Christopher Millette doesn’t believe the charges. In her opinion, he has always been a nice and respectable teacher.

“I honestly don’t want to believe this…. He dosent seem like he would do such a thing I say this because he was MY 7th grade science teacher and was very respectful and a great teacher.”

“While I pride the department in taking him off of the streets and charge him, isn’t it unlawful for you to publicly post him as a child molester prior to the formal conviction?”

No word on how long Christopher Millette has been a teacher at the school. A background check reveals that Millette has lived in Anaheim, Orange County, Diamond Bar, and Hawaiian Gardens.
