‘Teen Mom’ Boyfriend Taylor McKinney Speaks Out About Pregnancy

Teen Mom boyfriend Taylor McKinney has spoken out about Maci Bookout’s recently announced pregnancy. On Monday, as the Inquisitr reported, Bookout revealed she was expecting in the pages of In Touch Weekly magazine. Hours later, McKinney surfaced on Twitter.

Following the news of Bookout’s pregnancy, one of the couple’s friends, Jessica Tickle, reached out to McKinney on Twitter, telling him she’s been “so excited about this!”

“Cats out of the bag! @tmon3yy love you guys!” Tickle wrote.

In response, the Teen Mom boyfriend wrote, “Thank ya.”

Another friend of the pair, Taylor Ervin, tweeted, “97.9 in Nashville just congratulated @MaciBookoutMTV and @tmon3yy on their baby. So happy for my favorites #oliviasnewbestfriend.”

McKinney also told Ervin, “Thank ya,” and Bookout added, “wooohoo.”

Along with her baby news announcement, Bookout appeared on the cover of In Touch Weekly in a tight red top, which put her growing baby bump on display. As the Inquisitr reported, the first photo of Bookout’s baby bump hit the web hours after the interview was shared.

“We still can’t believe it,” Bookout told the magazine, according to a report by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “It was a huge shock but we are very excited.”

Because Bookout was previously diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, she knew it would be difficult, or possibly impossible, to have a second child (her first child, 6-year-old Bentley, was born during the time she was seeing Ryan Edwards).

“This baby is such a blessing. I’m calling her my miracle baby,” Bookout said. “I knew my chances of getting pregnant were very low.”

With her first pregnancy, Bookout was in an unstable relationship and just 16-years-old. This time around, she is much better prepared with her Teen Mom boyfriend Taylor McKinney.

“Last time there was a lot of worry and concern,” she admitted to the magazine. “It was just me and Bentley facing the world together and I had to figure things out as I went. This time I’m able to be excited because I’m older and able to give my baby the stability of the relationship that Taylor and I have.”

Bookout is currently 16 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. She is due in June.

Teen Mom boyfriend Taylor McKinney, and his girlfriend Maci Bookout will appear in Teen Mom season five on MTV in 2015. The show, which was canceled in 2012, was recently brought back by the network. However, cast member Farrah Abraham will not be seen on the show.
