Miranda Kerr Gifted $100K Earrings, Courted By 10 Billionaires
It’s no surprise that Miranda Kerr is currently being courted by 10 billionaires. The beautiful and single model is a hot property these days. Billionaire James Packer reportedly placed a bid on Miranda Kerr over the Christmas holiday. According to one of Kerr’s close friends, there are about 10 billionaires who are trying to win a date with the ex-wife of Orlando Bloom.
Miranda already received an extravagant gift for Christmas. According to KpopStarz, the model received a pair of $100,000 earrings from Australian businessman James Packer. Women’s Day also reported about Miranda’s insanely lavish gift. It appears that James is smitten with Miranda and wants to win her heart with jewelry and money.
“An insider told Women’s Day, ‘He bought them for her four weeks ago. … They’re amazing earrings – the sort of Christmas baubles every girl wants!'”
Kerr is rumored to be on a whirlwind romance with Packer. The 31-year-old former Victoria’s Secret model was spotted on his yacht near Spain in August, according to The Nation. Photos of Kerr and Packer were released on the internet and caused romance rumors to swirl. The photos made people wonder if Kerr is also working as a high-class escort.
It’s not that far fetched of a story. Over the summer, Chrissy Teigen shared her experience about being in the modeling industry. She hinted that some moonlight as models by day, and work as high-class escorts at night. Teigen wouldn’t name names in the industry, but she made it clear that it’s not uncommon.
Teigen said that some models make as much as $30,000 per night in South France. She told Du Jour magazine back in July, 2014, “A lot of models go there to make their side money. I’m definitely not worth $30,000. I don’t really have much to offer.”
However, this gesture could be seen as more romantic than business. Friends close to Miranda insist that she and James are seeing other people, but are making the effort to spend time together when they’re in the same country. It doesn’t seem like Miranda is that serious about James just yet.
Kerr split from her husband, Orlando Bloom, at the end of 2013. Both Kerr and Bloom said that distance and their busy schedules is what caused them to grow apart.
Ever since the split, Miranda has been rumored to be dating Tom Cruise and Justin Bieber. Rumors also swirled that Bieber was the cause of Miranda and Bloom’s split. Miranda reportedly had a fling with Justin while she was still married to Orlando.
Earlier this year, Orlando was caught throwing a punch at Justin, and missing, when they met at a restaurant in Ibiza, Spain. Justin allegedly made an inappropriate remark about Miranda, which caused Orlando’s blood to boil.
Even with all the dating rumors surrounding her, Kerr insists that she’s very much single these days.
“I’ll go on an occasional date here and there,” she said, but she wants to remind people that she’s “single, very single and really happy to be single.”
It doesn’t sound like there’s anything serious going on between Miranda and James then. Maybe their relationship is something of fun or of business, or maybe a little bit of both. Miranda could simply just be enjoying the company of wealthy men.
Earlier this year, Kerr bonded with Selena Gomez over Bieber, not once, but two times in Paris. According to a report on the Inquisitr, the two bonded over their shared dating history with Bieber. Kerr and Gomez also posed for photos at the CR party and the Louis Vuitton fashion show.
