Rick Ross Major Weight Loss: 'I Put A Twist On That CrossFit!'

Hood Billionaire rapper Rick Ross sat down with Sara Haines on Good Morning America recently to discuss how he's trying to live a better lifestyle while promoting his new album, revealing that he's lost close to 90 pounds. Just in case you missed it, you'll find the clip at the bottom of the page.

Ross said that he realized just how out of shape he was when he suffered a pair of frightening seizures in 2011.

"I just feel like I was at the point in my life where, you know, so many other positive things were happening in my career, my life. Two years ago I suffered two seizures. I woke up from that and I was like, 'wow, I really need to reevaluate what I'm doing.' I wanted to cut back on some of the drinking I was doing, sleep a little more and watch what I ate. You know, I feel I'm fat boy forever. I'm going to always be a fat boy. But it most definitely was just something I had to do, you know, for the better, you know. And I always enjoy my size. I love taking my shirt off, running around, you know … it was really a health issue for me."
"I would wake up, eat my breakfast. I would maybe eat three eggs and some turkey bacon and get ready for my workout. I put a twist on that CrossFit."
"You know, the most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money… But now, they give me fruit to eat. I forgot what fruit, you know, tasted like. I eat pears now and sh*t like that."
