3DS Ambassadors getting free GBA games on Friday

Nintendo is gearing up to release the next round of free games as part of the 3DS Ambassador program on Friday, ONM reports. This time around, early adopters will be getting ten GameBoy Advance games at no cost.

3DS early adopters who enrolled themselves into the Ambassador program will be getting F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Super Mario Advance 3, The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Vs Donkey Kong, Metroid Fusion, Wario Land 4, and WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames.

In case you forgot how it worked the first time around, you don’t have to do anything to redeem any of the titles if you’ve enrolled in the Ambassador program; all of the “thank you” gifts will be added to your purchase history on the 3DS’ eShop.

The Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program is essentially Nintendo’s way of apologizing to early adopters of the handheld after they dropped the price only four months after its release in light of poor sales performance.

Earlier this year, Ambassadors were gifted ten NES games, including Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Metroid, Balloon Fight, Wrecking Crew, Mario & Yoshi, Ice Climber and NES Open Tournament Golf.
