George Amal Most Fascinating Sushi Date: Clooney’s Celebrate Amal’s Newest Honor With Sushi

George and Amal enjoyed a “most fascinating” sushi date in California on Sunday night. According to Mail Online, the Clooneys enjoyed a meal at their favorite sushi place to celebrate Amal’s newest title after Barbara Walters named her the Most Fascinating Person Of 2014.

Interestingly enough, Amal Alamuddin wasn’t given the top honor because of her job, or because of the “fascinating” things that she has been involved with over the years. Walters chose Alamuddin because she was the woman to change the heart of America’s former eternal bachelor.

“At the start of the show Walters proudly told viewers that ‘most of our fascinating people are women this year’, even though her top 10 went on to contain five men and five women. But rather than focus on Amal’s successful career as a human rights lawyer, the TV host said she had been given the top spot because she snapped up Clooney as her husband,” Mail Online reports.

George and Amal celebrated the Most Fascinating honor on their sushi date, which onlookers described as intimate. According to Just Jared, the newlyweds dined at Asanebo Sushi, where they shared a cozy meal as Mr. and Mrs. Of course no one actually knows what the two were chatting about, or if Mrs. Clooney’s new honor even came up in discussion, but the timing of their date suggested that there may have been a “cheers to you, the most fascinating person of 2014” involved.

And as for Walters’ decision to spotlight Amal Alamuddin, she says that it’s because the new Mrc. C is irresistibly perfect.

“You could say hers was the wedding of the year, but let’s put it into perspective, it was really one of the greatest achievements in human history. Amal has been the subject of very little snark or envy, maybe because we – like George Clooney – find it impossible to resist perfection. Or maybe because it is heartening to think that no matter how long it may take, the perfect someone is out there for everyone. And that, for us, makes her the most fascinating person of 2014.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, 2015 might be another big year for the Clooneys. There has been a lot of speculation about the two having a baby together (biological or otherwise), and many believe that the two won’t wait very long to start a family, if that’s what they both decide that they want.
