Whoa! Justin Bieber Has Dyed His Hair Platinum Blonde, World Awaits A Selfie

Justin Bieber has dyed his hair blond. Not just blond, but platinum , Billy Idol or Eminem (take your pick) blond, in what is easily his most radical transformation to date.

Online chatter indicates fans are desperate to see the 20-year-old superstar in his newly-dyed, blond glory, with demands for him to post a selfie stacking up by the second.

Justin was spotted arriving at a hair salon in West Hollywood, California, on Thursday, with light brown hair while sporting an all-black ensemble, according to Ocean Up .

However, there was no denying the dramatic change when the heartthrob left the salon as he tried to hide his bleached hair .

Pictures show the Biebs attempting to hide his face with a baseball hat, but his platinum blond hair stuck out like a beacon.

As yet there’s no word on the biggest question after “What did you do ?” That question, of course, is “Why?”

Has the “Confident” singer scored a new role in Zoolander 2 perhaps, or some other movie role that required him to get the professionals in?

As previously reported, the Canadian scored a voiceover role in his pal David Hasselhoff’s upcoming comedy Kissing Hasselhoff . But photos of their Venice Beach shoot showed the star with brown hair.

Maybe Justin’s major hair change is for a new music video, either for his solo, hopefully-in-progress album, or his duets album with Australian teen star Cody Simpson?

This next option is an outside possibility — but who knows?

With rumors about the pop star and his blonde model pal Hailey Baldwin setting the web ablaze after pictures surfaced of her allegedly wrapping her legs around the singer during a visit to a recording studio on Tuesday, are the pair planning on doing a 1990s Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow?

And lest we forget, the Biebs dyed his hair blond as a kid to look like Eminem, as he captioned an Instagram throwback photo two years ago.

So maybe he’s just regressing?

Of course, Justin’s new platinum blond bombshell look could all be a dare, even a really, really good wig? The singer is something of a prankster, after all.

Or perhaps he just thinks blondes have more fun. And after a much-talked about and most likely emotional split from longtime girlfriend, Selena Gomez , maybe the hitmaker wants to start afresh with a new look for a new era?

It may be a cliche, but getting a new ‘do is a classic response to a relationship ending.

Justin Bieber fans — and fellow platinum blond Frankie Grande — are impatiently waiting on a first glimpse of the star.

As expected, they’ve all taken to Twitter with philosophical through to hilarious thoughts on the matter.
