Dakota Fanning’s Dad Causes Social Media Frenzy
Now we know where Dakota Fanning and sister Elle’s good looks come from.
On Sunday, November 6, Dakota Fanning attended the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden with her dad, Steven. The 20-year-old donned a white blouse with a black bow, while her dad wore a navy blue sweater and a New York Knicks cap, E Online reports.
Stars attending sports games are not new, but this time, the spotlight was on Steven instead of his famous daughter. Steven caused a storm on social media, with users gushing over his good looks. The two seem to be having a great time watching the game. They were seated next to The Wire actor Michael B. Jordan.

According to US Magazine, Steven, 47, was a former minor league baseball player in the 1980s up to the early 1990s. He now works as an electronics salesman in California.
Both Dakota and her 16-year-old sister Elle are close to their parents. They are often seen going to the gym with their father and talking about their mother. In an interview in 2012, Dakota talked about her family, US Magazine reports.
“My mom and I have been pretty much together my whole life, because when I was working before I was 18 she was always with me. So I’ve missed her a lot, and I’ve missed my whole family and my house and dog, but then I appreciate it all so much more when I go home. It’s good never to take anything for granted.”
A few months ago, Dakota was the center of attention because of her relationship with model Jamie Strachan who is 13 years older than her. The media attention had the actress open up about her boyfriend.
“I just do my thing. My job is to be in films and then I have a really wonderful, full, personal life and it’s personal to me… I’m just so weirded out than anybody would want to know about me. I don’t want to know about anybody else’s life. I don’t know what anybody would want to know about mine. You don’t know me or anybody who’s really in my life so I don’t know why it’s that interesting.”
