Paramount Pictures is tempting us with just a taste of Terminator Genisys with a wicked motion poster to whet our appetite before the release of the official teaser trailer on Thursday, December 4.
As the Terminator head seems to disintegrate before our very eyes, this motion poster raises more questions rather than enlighten us about the details of the film. Hit Fix reminds us that Terminators are made of “Hyperalloy — a fictional metal that is resistant to heat and deterioration.” So, one can only wonder what would cause it to basically turn into dust.
Terminator Genisys brings back the best of the best — or the worst of the worst (depending on how you look at it) — Terminator: Arnold Schwarzenegger! When he said, “I’ll be back,” he really meant it! Schwarzenegger co-stars alongside Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor.
According to IMDB, Terminator Genisys, directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones and Thor: The Dark World), takes us to the year 2029.
“John Connor, leader of the resistance, continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John’s fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.”
First Showing also reveals that the Terminator timeline will show an orphaned Sarah Connor being raised and trained by an aging T-800 Terminator (In steps Schwarzenegger).
Many twists and turns will be inevitable for movie goers in this action-packed Terminator feature film. But, fans will have to wait until July 1, 2015 to watch it in all its glory on the big screen.
