‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of November 28
Does Xûr, Agent of the Nine, celebrate Black Friday in Destiny? Apparently, he does not. The mysterious vendor is back for another week of selling exotic weapons and armor, but it’s all retreads with the exception of one item.
Xûr can be found next to the Crucible Quartermaster in the Tower this weekend. Simply head straight towards the Vanguard hall after spawning in the tower and look against the wall on the left just before you run into the Quartermaster. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map.
Xûr and his items will only be available through the morning of Sunday, November 2. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
As mentioned above, the Exotic items that Xûr is selling are retreads, except for the weapon. Those with the Strange coins can pick up the Plan C Fusion Rifle. The rest have been offered multiple times before. That means this week’s offerings are geared towards those just starting out in their post-level 20 adventures in Destiny or working on a second or third character. For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Plan C is one of the better Fusion Rifles in the game due to its stability and quick charge time. It’s also one of only two Arc Fusion Rifles in the game, which makes it a no-brainer to grab for facing down Arc-shielded enemies or to use in Nightfall when Arc Burn is active. Its perks include bonus accuracy to hip fire, reduced charge time, and fast equip / charge time after swapping weapons.
The Amramentarium chest armor for Titans is for those who like to use their special weapon, heavy weapon, and grenades frequently. It comes with three upgrade perks that allows users to carry additional ammo for the two weapons classes, plus an extra grenade.
The Crest of Alpha Lupi is for Hunters who roll with Hand Cannons as their primary weapons and also favor their special weapon. It comes with two perks to increase the amount of ammo you can carry for both. It’s also good for team players, as the Keeper of the Pack perk will allow you to revive fallen teammates faster, be revived faster, and drop additional orbs for your teammates when you use your super ability.
Voidfang Vestments is the only Exotic Warlock chest piece that comes with a perk for the Voidwalker sub-class. The Improved Axion Bolt perk will spawn an additional seeker for Axion Bolt grenades. You also respawn with full grenade energy. There is also a Hand Cannon Ammo and Special Weapon Ammo perk to allow you to carry additional ammo for both
