Farrah Abraham’s ‘Leaked’ Adult Film Receives Nomination
Farrah Abraham may have gained fame for being on MTV’s Teen Mom, but these days she is famous for something entirely different. After four seasons, the show ended in 2012. While most of the girls went on with their lives as normally as possible, Farrah aimed to stay in the spotlight and released an adult film.
Initially, Farrah claimed that the tape had been leaked and that she intended for it to stay private. She said this despite having filmed with a veteran adult film star. After the “leak,” Farrah signed what was rumored to be a six-figure deal with Vivid Entertainment to release the tape. When it was first released, the former Teen Mom’s adult film did better than Kim Kardashian’s tape which was released through the same company. Considering how well Farrah’s first tape did, it makes sense that the company would want to release another tape.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Farrah Abraham tried to stop a second adult film from being released. The former reality show star didn’t film any new footage for the sequel, but rather the company used footage from the first film that didn’t make the initial cut. Despite her efforts to stop it from being released, Farrah 2: Backdoor and More was eventually released. Now, the tape that Farrah didn’t want released has received an AVN nomination.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Farrah’s tape has received a nomination for “Best Celebrity Sex Tape.” The former reality show star is up against some other reality show stars (and a reality show star look-alike) as well.
Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars Nikko Smith and Mimi Faust have also received a nomination for their leaked tape, as well as Tila Tequila who, like Farrah, is nominated for a sequel. Tami Erin’s film also received a nomination.
Things get interesting, though, because Farrah Abraham is up against Myla Sinanaj. Myla is best known for dating Kris Humphries, as well as for looking exactly like his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Myla and Farrah spent some time together and seemed to be really good friends. However, some competition seemed to ensue when Myla Sinanaj released an adult film of her own. Now, the two ladies both have films nominated in the same category.
Farrah Abraham is finishing up a gig at a gentlemen’s club in Austin. Farrah inked the deal and received $544,000 to perform through New Year’s Eve. She hasn’t yet commented on her tape’s nomination.
