Kendra Says Hank Is Back — Even Though He’s ‘Gullible And Naive’ And She Doesn’t Trust Him

Kendra Wilkinson has given her reasons for taking husband Hank Baskett back, and they don’t sound too convincing. In an interview with US Magazine, the reality star and former Playboy Mansion resident had some not-very-flattering things to say about her former NFL player husband — but said she is accepting him back into their home anyway.

Hank Baskett, who played parts of five NFL seasons with three different teams after signing with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2006, got somehow caught up in an affair with a transgender model earlier this year.

Exactly what went on between Hank and Ava Sabrina London has never exactly been clear, and whether Baskett ever told Kendra the full story is also uncertain. But in the US interview she called her 32-year-old husband “gullible and naive” and said that even though she is forgiving him — sort of — she still doesn’t trust him.

“All I can say is I believe Hank. I love Hank. And he’s proven to me that he’s worth forgiving and fighting for,” said the 29-year-old Kendra On Top star, who has been married to Baskett since 2009. “He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and unfortunate things took place. He’s very gullible and naive.”

Hank and Kendra are the parents of two young children, son Hank IV, who is four years old, and new daughter Alijah who is a mere six months old. Kendra was in the final stages of her pregnancy with Alijah when Hank somehow became involved with the transgendered model.

“It’s going to take a lifetime to trust him again,” Kendra told US Magazine. And Hank agreed.

“I will spend my life trying to get Kendra to trust me again,” the former wide receiver turned reality TV personality told the celebrity news magazine. “Our relationship is still day-to-day. I’m still working on regaining Kendra’s trust.”

Of course, how many days the recently renewed relationship will last is anyone’s guess. The TV couple plans to renew their wedding vows, reportedly, but not long after granting the US interview, Kendra took off for Australia where she is currently a cast member on her latest reality TV show, the British program I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Kendra was recently forced to eat an actual antelope penis as part of the show, which puts “C” and “D” list celebrities through various ordeals which can be described as a cross between Survivor and Fear Factor.

But given their current — albeit work-related — separation, and the fact the Kendra said she was consumed with rage and cried herself to sleep every night after learning of the Hank Baskett transgression, star-watchers will be keeping a close eye on how long the apparent reconciliation actually endures.
