Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Celebrities Read Mean Tweets (Again) In Hilarious Video
Jimmy Kimmel Live! is bringing us yet another version of famous celebrities reading mean tweets from random people. The rude comments are totally uncalled for and the best part is watching the stars’ reactions to reading the demeaning statements with a straight face.
Anyone who uses Twitter and deals with celebrities knows that they get the most unbelievably rude comments for no reason. But it’s kind of embarrassing to realize that they actually may read the unsavory tweets, even though many of those featured in the Jimmy Kimmel Live! piece have thousands upon thousands of followers and it’s unlikely they have time to read all the nonsense that comes their way.
Well, Jimmy Kimmel made sure they saw at least one of those mean tweets, even if they missed them while surfing their notifications on the social media site. However, these celebrities may be the ones with the last laugh, as the name of the person who posted the mean tweet is displayed on the screen as the message is read.
The hilarious clip starts with a stone-faced Gwyneth Paltrow, who reads a very mean and insulting tweet from user @concretesledge_.
“Gwyneth Paltrow you ugly a** big bird looking b****, shut the f*** up.”
Gerard Butler couldn’t help but chuckle while reading his mean tweet on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! segment. User @ladycariad went straight for the jugular.
“Does Gerard Butler have a massive student loan or something? Is that why he does all these S*** films?”
Butler actually responded saying, “No, I don’t have a student loan…I just do all these s*** films” to the laughter of the live audience.
For his part, Bob Newart didn’t look very happy while reading a tweet that referenced his longevity on television from user @mike_.
“How old is Bob Newhart now? About 120?”
Singer Britney Spears found her mean tweet extremely funny and she was laughing when done reading the message from @trickyfoxski.
“I feel like Britney Spears is stalking me on the radio? Quit forcing your suckage on me you tired hag.”
Actress Gina Davis looked confused by the mean tweet about her from @princepswallie. “Gina Davis is a real man’s man.” To which Davis just arched a brow and rolled her eyes.
