Vicki Gunvalson Talks Shrinking Waistline: Brooks’ Cancer Diagnosis A Scare?

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson puts everything on television when she is filming, including her divorce from Donn, her disagreements with daughter Briana, and even her failing friendship with Tamra Barney. But when Vicki isn’t in front of the cameras, she tends to keep her life to herself. She is rarely on Twitter, compared to some of her co-stars, and she doesn’t get into massive arguments with followers.

Earlier this year, Vicki Gunvalson learned that her boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, had been diagnosed with cancer. He has started treatment, which includes chemotherapy. And while Gunvalson hasn’t discussed the matter in public, she may be taking this diagnosis personally. This week, she announced that she wants to be healthy.

According to a new tweet, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson revealed that she has been trying to slim down a bit. She doesn’t need to lose weight, but this cancer diagnosis may be something that has Vicki thinking about her health. Gunvalson just became a grandmother for the second time, so she wants to stick around for years to come.

“Day 11: Going strong. New energy coming thru and my waistline is shrinking. 21Day Transformation,” Vicki Gunvalson tweeted, tagging Club Detox in the tweet.

According to the Inquisitr, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has revealed that Brooks’ cancer diagnosis has really put her life into perspective. Given that Vicki has been caught up in some drama with her co-stars on the show about who-said-what, it is no surprise that Gunvalson is thinking about the more important things, such as her family and her grandchildren.

After learning of the cancer diagnosis, Vicki decided to look at her past. Over the years, she has gone through several friendships as new wives joined the show and then left again. The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson decided to reach out to Jeana Keough recently. The two had been neighbors once and had indeed been good friends. But after Jeana left the show, the friendship fizzled out. Their children remained good friends, so these are two are bonding once again.

Perhaps this cancer diagnosis has scared Vicki Gunvalson to the point where she is taking her health seriously. She does work quite a bit, but maybe the illness has put things into perspective for her.

What do you think of Vicki Gunvalson slimming down? Do you think she is putting the drama of The Real Housewives of Orange County behind her?
