Stassi Schroder Dishes On Her Return To Los Angeles With Boyfriend Patrick Meagher

Fans didn’t expect Stassi Schroeder to return to Vanderpump Rules Season 3.

Once filming wrapped on the dramatic second season, Schroeder moved to New York City to be closer to her boyfriend, Patrick Meager. However, after just a few months on the east coast Schroeder returned to California, where she began filming the series’ third season.

In her Nov. 10 Bravo blog, Stassi Schroeder opened up about her move back to Los Angeles.

“Coming back to California was so surreal. I had every intention of leaving Los Angeles, moving to New York, and starting over — but life happened, as it always does. My boyfriend left Cosmo Radio to follow his dream to work in sports, and got his own radio show The Wrap with Patrick Meagher for SiriusXm’s Mad Dog Radio. That opportunity required him to move to LA. We both talked about it extensively, and though I was so happy to be in New York, I felt like it was the best decision for him career-wise. Plus, coming back to so many of my friends and my family was comfortable and safe (although there were some people I would rather not run into again).”

Once she returned, Stassi Schroeder moved in with her longtime friend and co-star, Katie Maloney, and returned to SUR Lounge, where she met with former boss, Lisa Vanderpump. “The most logical step was to reconnect with Lisa Vanderpump, and I was definitely nervous about the meeting because I knew she wasn’t very happy with me when I left,” Schroeder explained. “I didn’t feel like I did anything wrong. Following your dreams is what you are supposed to do, but it was very ironic that following my heart brought me back full circle.”

“Contrary to popular belief, I didn’t leave in poor graces, but when you are dealing with someone like Lisa, diverting from her plan is a sin in an[sic] of itself,” Schroeder continued. “At the end of the day, Lisa was my employer and I did my due diligence in showing her the respect that she deserved. Did I think I was wrong in leaving? No. It was the best choice for my personal life. But when I came back to L.A. I knew I had to show her rightfully deserved courtesy.”

In her own blog last week, Vanderpump weighed in on Stassi Schroeder’s recent choices, and seemed unsure of her career path. As the Inquisitr reported, Vanderpump wrote, “I don’t quite understand how Stassi thinks that just because she’s creating a website, she’s going to earn a living from it. I mean her plans are kind of vague at best.”

In an interview with StyleCaster, Schroeder, who, according to the Inquisitr, was rumored to be pregnant last month, admitted to having regrets about her time on the show. “It’s hard to not look back at the editing and cringe,” she explained. “I watch the shows ahead of time, with a big bottle of wine, and just brace myself.”
