Kate, Jon Gosselin Reality Show: ‘Jon & Kate’ Back For More Reality TV?

Kate and Jon Gosselin got famous on a reality show, but they watched their marriage crumble on one too. However, for the first time in years, Jon was at a TLC taping of Kate Plus 8 when he showed up at a yard sale that his ex-wife was having. It is believed that Jon will appear on the show in some manner, but that has not been confirmed by the network or by Kate. What has been confirmed is the fact that Jon is open to doing reality TV again, even though that is the very thing he desperately wanted to get away from when he and Kate decided to split.

According to Softpedia, Jon likely wants to get back on television again because he needs the money.

“The truth is that he’s… in the gutter financially, so any offer for whatever reality show might be too good for him to turn down right now. He was recently evicted from his house and is now living in a very small apartment, which is so tiny that it’s not even suitable for when the 8 kids come over to visit.”

Kate and Jon Gosselin haven’t done a reality show together in many years, and there’s a good chance that Kate would refuse… but you never know. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jon said that he’d be open to doing a show like Couples Therapy with Kate because he thinks it’s important that the two work on their relationship for the sake of their children.

“I would consider appearing on ‘Couples Therapy’ with Kate. We’re divorced, but why can’t we co-parent? I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences, because our kids are suffering,” Jon said.

According to Reality TV Magazine, Jon seems to finally realize that doing reality television shows, and accepting opportunities offered to you isn’t such a bad idea at all. For instance, Kate has not only made money from TLC’s Kate Plus 8 (which only runs a few special episodes a year now), but she has also earned a paycheck from Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice (which airs January 4).

If Kate and Jon Gosselin did a reality show together, ratings would certainly be good. Love them or hate them, people tend to have an opinion. Putting these two back together in front of a camera after all of these years may not be that bad of an idea. Would you tune in?
