Kristen Doute Claims The ‘Truth Always Comes Out’ Regarding Tom Sandoval Cheating Rumors
Kristen Doute was at the center of controversy during Episode 1 of Vanderpump Rules, Season 3.
After claiming to have hard proof that Tom Sandoval cheated on girlfriend Ariana Madix during a trip to Miami, rumors swirled among the cast, leading many to question Sandoval’s relationship. Others wondered why Doute had gotten involved.
In an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, Kristen Doute addressed the issue. “[This season is] just really different than the last two seasons because the friendships and relationships have changed so dramatically,” she explained. “I was actually surprised they came out with the Tom and Ariana cheating scandal in the first episode because that plays out throughout most of the season — it’s the biggest ordeal.”
“That’s the biggest question: ‘Why are you trolling your ex-boyfriend?’ The original post about it, I was mentioned in one of them. At the time, this was months ago, I was still getting over the breakup with Tom. It was a little harder for me to get past it than it was for him, so I was curious what he said about me and about our relationship. Maybe it’s none of my business, but when has that ever stopped me before? The truth always does come out. I feel like that’s our mantra every season, but especially for this season.”
“Going into this season, I wasn’t really nervous because there’s such a time lapse between Season 2 and 3 and my life had changed so dramatically. I kind of went into it guns blazing because I don’t have any secrets. I don’t have anything to hide — it’s on everyone else this time. I wasn’t afraid of anything,” Doute explained. “There’s nothing anyone can really do to me. They want to bully me for something I did a year ago? I apologized for it. I’m not saying that makes it right, but look what everyone did too. I feel like I’m the only one who got quarantined for it. I’ve surrounded myself with a great group of friends, family, and James. It’s really refreshing to be in a happy relationship and remember what that’s like.”
As the Inquisitr reported earlier, Sandoval responded to Kristen Doute’s claims in his November 4 blog post for Bravo. “There are no text[s] between me and this Miami girl that prove anything more than a social hangout in a group setting went down,” he said. “The obvious reason is because absolutely nothing happened! Kristen is lying or at the very least reaching for something that doesn’t exist.”
Madix weighed in on Doute’s accusations as well, telling fans, via the Inquisitr, “Someone is using the ‘say something a bunch of times’ method of trying to make something true. I have a genius level IQ and I evaluate all situations scientifically and logically. If I’m not worried about it, it’s not something to worry about.”
