Kate Gosselin Long Hair: ‘Kate Plus 8’ Star Goes Sans Glam, Gets Blasted By Media

Kate Gosselin sported long hair at a yard sale that she held with her kids over the weekend, and apparently people couldn’t help but notice. While Kate’s hairdo is definitely different from the way she styled her short bob a decade ago, the media seemed to grasp on to the “new” look, and called the reality stay out for looking “pretty different.” According to the Huffington Post, Kate was “barely recognizable” at Saturday’s yard sale… but was she really?

“Kate, is that you?” the site asks, adding that “mother of eight, who has grown out her signature blond pixie cut over the years, went makeup-free at the sale, which was reportedly being filmed for an upcoming ‘Kate Plus 8’ special on TLC.”

Kate Gosselin’s long hair has been a part of her life for a few years now, and a lot of people think that she looks great. However, just because she didn’t get all dolled up for a yard sale doesn’t mean that she’s drastically changed her look. Yes, people look different without makeup. This isn’t something new.

Even Us Weekly pointed out that Kate had “barely a stitch of make-up on her face” as she greeted people, sold some of her gently used items, and “reunited” with her ex, Jon Gosselin.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jon was a surprising face to see at the yard sale. There was at least one report that Jon had been going through items, trying to save some of his “junk.” However, he may have just been there to help out and to see his kids. If the event was filmed for TLC, people will soon enough learn what Jon’s actual purpose at the yard sale was.

Now back to Kate Gosselin and her long hair. To expect Kate to be dressed up and all glam while she’s spending a day with her children doing an activity is a bit strange, isn’t it? Kate is a mother to eight children — many would praise her just for being dressed and out the door on time.
