Amber Rose On Wiz Khalifa Divorce: ‘I Miss My Husband, It’s Devastating’
It came as a big shock to many when, last month, Amber Rose revealed that she and Wiz Khalifa were getting a divorce, having only been married for just over a year.
But, as is often the way with Hollywood celebrity relationships, rumors of Khalifa cheating and wanting to be a single man again took their toll on the relationship and eventually led to its complete demise.
As Rose turns 31, she spoke to reporters recently about her upcoming divorce, revealing for the first time her true feelings on the split.
In an interview with HipHollywood, Amber Rose revealed, “[It’s] devastating. I’m human. I’m going through a divorce. I love my husband, I miss him a lot. But you know, sh*t happens.”
In a second interview with Hollywood Life, Rose went into a whole lot more detail about her relationship with Khalifa, confirming for the most part that she wishes him only good things in the future and bears no hard feelings towards him.
“We were married and he has always been my best friend so regardless of us not being married anymore, we still have a baby together. We still love each other and we are always going to love each other forever. And that’s just how it is. We are human and I think a lot of people look at celebrities as robots and think we don’t have feelings. [They think we are like], ‘Who cares I’m getting a divorce, let me go out there and have sex with everyone,’ [but] it doesn’t work like that. I have feelings and so does he, and people deal with their emotions differently. We still love each other and we still love our son.”
According to reports, even though Amber Rose has been in some shock since she allegedly walked in on Wiz Khalifa while he was in bed with twin sisters, she seems to only have respect for him when it comes to chatting to the media.
It seems that Amber Rose is very forgiving when it comes to her ex-husband-to-be, despite his previous misdemeanors, and is clearly looking to the future as opposed to making revengeful comments about the divorce to the media.
