Kim Kardashian Limerick Penned By Salman Rushdie

After Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries last all of six seconds author Salman Rushdie took to Twitter where he posted a limerick about the stars fallen relationship.

On the social networking site Rushdie tweeted:

“The marriage of poor kim (pound)kardashian was krushed like a kar in a krashian”

“her kris kried, not fair! why kan’t I keep my share?”

“But kardashian fell klean outa fashian.”

After the Booker Price recipient posted his lyrics other writers and aspiring writers began posting their own Kardashian-Humphries limericks turning Twitter into a Dr. Suessian attack on a failed marriage everyone saw coming.

In the meantime Kim isn’t going about business as usual, she was set to receive $150,000 for a one-hour gig in Sydney, Australia but after arriving in the country she cancelled and headed back home to deal with the termination of her marriage. Kim was in the country with sister Khloe and brother-in-law Lamar Odom to promote the new Kardashian Kollections Handbags.

Meanwhile, Kardashian is cancelling her weekend engagements in Australia to head back home and deal with the fallout from her

Speaking to The Herald Sun, Kim says:

“I am very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time.”
