Dane Cook Brags About Sleeping With Hundreds Of Groupies While On Tour
Dane Cook has apparently been very busy while touring the country.
The 42-year-old comedian revealed Thursday that he has slept with “hundreds” of women while he’s traveled the country performing his stand-up act. Cook revealed the large number during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, an interview that included a few other interesting tid-bits from the comedian.
When asked by host Andy Cohen how many college girls he slept with while touring campuses nationwide, Cook gave quite a large number.
“In my younger days, I would say a few hundred,” Dane replied.
Dane Cook had plenty of other details to share during the interview, including the comedian he thinks is the most overrated (Gallagher) and his worst on-screen kiss (Kate Hudson, who Cook said “purposefully ate like a feast of onions before the scene”).
Cook also revealed the dumbest thing that Employee of the Month co-star Jessica Simpson said on set.
“She said one day, ‘Are we making a movie?’ That was kind of dumb,” Dane said with a laugh.
After becoming one of the hottest comedy acts in the country but following it up with a series of box office bombs, Dane Cook decided to take a break from touring. He lost his father and mother to cancer within 10 months and later found out his half brother, who had been serving as his business manager, had stolen $12 million from him.
Cook later discussed his absence with the Los Angeles Times.
“I was in a very fragile time then — and I did stop for a year. I had to take the time to say ‘OK, this stuff happened to me’ and find the humor in it. I needed to realize that everything I did moving forward was mine — not shared with people who are toxic, or people who aren’t representing me properly. This is a complete do-over. I’m going into a new era of my career and professional life.”
Dane Cook is now back touring, with a series of dates at New York’s Beacon Theater on the horizon. No word on whether Dane is saving any time to meet with his female fans.
