Selena Gomez And Orlando Bloom Together At LAX Airport, ‘New Couple’ Rumors Fly

Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom clearly don’t care about rumors. Which is just as well, because a truckload just landed.

The 22-year-old actress-singer and 37-year-old actor were spotted together at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Monday, headed for the We Day youth event in Vancouver, Canada, at which the Disney alum will host on Wednesday.

Bloom is a guest speaker at the empowerment conference. Macklemore and Lewis and others are also set to appear.

At LAX, Selena was seen walking a small distance from Orlando, who was accompanied by an unidentified female.

Meanwhile, the “Come & Get It” songstress linked arms with videographer Alfredo Flores, a close friend of Justin Bieber – whom, just two weeks ago, was dating Selena before their split.

Orlando, of course, nearly came to blows with Justin in Ibiza, Spain, in July. The fight was reportedly over the then 18-year-old singer’s rumored 2012 fling with Bloom’s former wife, the Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr.

In April this year, after Selena and Orlando met for the first time at the We Day California event in March, speculation sparked that they were dating after they were snapped taking a cigarette break at a Chelsea Handler show in LA.

At the time, sources told E! News the pair were simply out with a large group of pals.

A video of Orlando approaching Justin at a restaurant in Ibiza to strike the “Baby” singer, which was blocked by one of the Canadian’s bodyguards, went viral in the summer.

In a paid-for account given to the tabloid, the Daily Mirror, former Spanish journalist turned model Anastasia Skolkova told the paper: “Justin said something when he came in which was aimed at Orlando, who then jumped onto a sofa to try and get at Justin.”

Skolkova claimed other stars in Cipriani restaurant including Leonardo DiCaprio, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton cheered and laughed at the brawl along with other diners.

Later claims over a rude comment Justin allegedly made to Orlando just before their spat varied wildly.

Just hours after the near-fisticuffs, Justin posted a bikini shot of Miranda to his Instagram account then quickly removed it. He also posted a pic of Orlando crying, which he deleted days later.

Miranda and Orlando announced their intention to divorce in October 2013, following three years of marriage and their six-year relationship. They have one son, Flynn.

Since then, Orlando has been seen snuggling with Erica Packer, the ex-wife of Australian mogul James Packer, and a young model.

Miranda is rumored to be involved with Packer, 46.

Selena and Justin reportedly argued during their recent break in the Caribbean, just before their trip to Paris Fashion Week. The Latina unfollowed the 20-year-old on Instagram and flew home to Los Angeles the day after he took supermodel pal Kendall Jenner to lunch.

During recent press rounds for her new film Rudderless, Selena shared relationship advice given to her by best friend Taylor Swift on The Talk.

“I was sitting by the fire and I was talking about relationships and business in my life,” the starlet told the show’s host, Sharon Osbourne, and its female panel.

Gomez went on, “And you know, she [Taylor] just kinda looked at me. And she supports me, she never judges me for anything.”

“She’s like, ‘Well, Selena, if you’re the smartest person in the room, I think you’re going to be in the wrong room.'”

“She thinks I should constantly surround myself – and I agree – with people who are going to make me better, that are going to challenge me, motivate me,” Gomez added.

Already, rumors are suggesting Selena’s developing friendship with Orlando could be the pair’s “revenge” on both Miranda and Justin.

If so, the 15-year gap between Gomez and Bloom beats the 11-year difference between Kerr and Bieber by four years.
