National Dessert Day 2014 is here, and a lot of restaurants are offering freebies and good deals. The holiday observes all things sweet such as cake, pie, ice cream, and cookies.
October 14 is unofficially National Dessert Day this year, according to Go Banking Rates. If you weren’t able to get any freebies or deals on this date, don’t worry! Several places are still offering sweets and other goodies free of charge throughout the week or the rest of the month.
Listed here are the restaurants offering freebies on desserts beyond October 14. Note that many offer yummy desserts as long as customers sign up for special offers or e-clubs.
Baker’s Square allows diners to have a free slice of pie every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to closing. Benningan’s offers a free brownie bottom pie when customers become and E-Club member. A free dessert is available at Black Angus Steakhouse with a coupon after joining its Prime Club. Bob Evans’ Sweet Treat Club coupon will give diners a free cookie on their first three visits. A free kids’ sundae is given on a fourth visit. The coupon expires October 17. Bruster’s offers a free pint of ice cream when you buy a half gallon when using this coupon. The option of getting a free small cup or cone with any Nathan’s combo using this coupon.
At Carrows, get a free dessert after signing up for their email club. Champps is the same. Sign up for the MVP League email and get a dessert freebie. An eClub sign-up with Claim Jumper will get patrons a free slice of chocolate “motherlode” cake. Coco’s Bakery has the same type of deal when signing up for their eclub — with another coupon for a free birthday pie. Cold Stone Creamery has a buy-one, get one-half off coupon for ice cream after becoming a member of Cold Stone’s eClub. A coupon for a free birthday creation is included.

Dairy Queen offers exclusive deals when signing up for their eClub. Club members will get coupons for $3 off a cake purchase or for a free Blizzard with the purchase of a medium one throughout the month of October. Eat’n Park is offering this coupon, for a free slice of pie with a meal through October 19.
At Great American Cookies, be sure to sign up for CookiE-Mail and get a coupon instantly for a free cookie, in addition to a free birthday cookie cake slice. Huddle House provides this coupon for diners to get a free brownie a la mode. No purchase is required and the offer lasts through October 26. Long John Silver’s gives customers a free slice of pie through December 30 with this coupon. Max and Erma’s is giving out a free dessert on October 15 since it offers two free cookies per customer every Wednesday. O’Charley’s is also offering a free slice of pie October 15 since it falls on their free slice of pie with each entrée every Wednesday.
At Olive Garden, you can get a free dessert with this coupon upon the purchase of two entrées, good through October 20. Pollo Campero gives out a free dessert coupon when signing up for the restaurant’s e-club. Red Lobster emails a coupon for a free dessert after you sign up for the Fresh Catch Club; a purchase of two entrées is required for the this dessert freebie. Ruby’s Diner will give one coupon out for a free shake with the purchase of an entrée after signing up for their e-club. Sign up on TGI Fridays email list and get a free dessert.
