Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have been battling near endless divorce rumors, and now The Voice coach is fighting back.
After a number of reports indicated that the couple was headed for a split, Shelton responded with some choice words for the tabloid spreading the rumors.
Shelton blasted off an angry tweet aimed at In Touch Weekly, which published a report claiming that Miranda Lambert was ready to give up on the relationship.
"Maybe because the divorce rate is so high the tabloids have just decided to play the odds with me and Miranda. Morons," Shelton wrote.
He then added quite a memorable hashtag, telling the gossip outlet to eat a very specific part of the male anatomy.
The report Blake Shelton was responding to claimed that the couple had drifted apart in recent months.
"They're barely together," a source told the publication (via Radar Online). "Miranda is worried that if this keeps up, they'll continue to grow apart."
This is far from the first time that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have faced divorce rumors. There have also been reports that Blake's drinking was starting to get to Lambert, who has been on more of a health kick. She debuted a big weight loss earlier this year.
There are even rumors of infidelity, including a report that Shelton has been cheating on Miranda while filming The Voice.
But both Blake and Miranda have denied the rumors in the past.
"I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we've been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce," Lambert told Billboard magazine in May about the rumors, adding that she can't help but laugh at the endless tabloid reports that they had split.
Blake feels the same way.
"I would take this opportunity to say, to clear the air, you may pick up a magazine or a tabloid any day of the week that'll say something about my relationship with Miranda, and that it's in turmoil and we're gonna divorce," he told Carson Daly earlier this year. "And the truth is, I've never felt a stronger bond... not only with her but with any other human being in my life. I mean, Miranda and I, she's my life."
Apparently the tabloids have found a way to fire up the normally laid-back Blake Shelton -- just spread divorce rumors about his wife Miranda Lambert.
