WWE News: Triple H Reportedly Huge On Getting Internet Feedback
Unlike Vince McMahon, Triple H entreated the WWE into the 21st century. HHH brought in their huge Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and overall Internet presence. Granted, he had a team to help with the specifics, but it was Helmsley that entered WWE into the age of social media. Without that huge market for social media junkies, that’s a pretty sizable demographic immediately not accounted for.
Another thing that HHH does, which is one thing McMahon never did, was take into account the Internet Wrestling Community and their incessant complaining about literally everything. For example, this promo HHH cut a few months ago perfectly summed up the WWE fans on the Internet.
The best of fans are guilty of this, but he’s into making fun of the fans. It also proves that he reads tweets, Facebook posts, Instagram pictures, Vines and any other social media platform. A good boss always listens to his or her audience. Speaking of that, WrestleZone.com is reporting that Triple H badly wants feedback from the Internet.
According to a source within WWE, Triple H, as he comes more into power, is a big fan of soliciting feedback from the internet and online communities, and is reportedly having WWE’s social media workers keep an eye on various online communities.
The site HHH is most intrigued by is Reddit, and its “r/squaredcircle” community. Apparently that’s where the “Dolphins1925? user originated, and it looks like the site has a new insider on there – a former employee of the WWE who has been telling loads of stories about Vince, Kevin Dunn, and other backstage on-goings and entities.
Along with his interest in the Internet Wrestling Community, he is said to be working on an “Ask Me Anything” website for WWE fans. It will be on some form of message board, but that information isn’t available as this time.
Another big complaint comes in the form of not thinking Triple H and Stephanie McMahon don’t listen to the fans. If that were true, then Stephanie wouldn’t have called out the fans for chanting, “CM Punk” last night on Monday Night Raw. She clearly hears the fans and every once in awhile, will fire back her own witty retort.
Triple H listening to the Internet is a good and bad thing for WWE. It could solve later arguments with the big boss, Vince McMahon, when it is regarding Creative ideas. I’m not saying that the WWE should listen to every single complaint or request, but making sure the fans’ voices are heard is a big step in the right direction. If they listened to the fans’ every whim, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins would hold the title until they got sick of them, Roman Reigns and John Cena would be fired and the Attitude Era would make its return.
Clearly, none of those will happen, with an exception to the first one on a completely lesser scale. What this will provide the WWE is the ability to make the fans feel important. Believe me if you want, but I guarantee viewership will definitely go up when that Triple H’s AMA site is up-and-running.
