Calvin Harris Drops $15 Mil On A Beverly Hills Mansion

It must be nice to be Calvin Harris. His love life makes the news as much as ISIS threats, his songs rush to #1 on the charts, and he is even the inspiration–for good or bad–of others’ music. Oh, and yesterday, he dropped $15 million dollars for a posh Beverly Hills compound. Not too bad for the 30-year old Scottish DJ, whose real name is Adam Wiles. Buying and flipping luxurious Southern California real estate has become second nature to Harris, as this is his third purchase of a home in the region in two years.

Calvin Harris $15 million
Calvin Harris’ new mansion in Beverly Hills is massive.

The new mansion is what you would expect from a property that sells for $15 mil. According to Variety, the home is quite spacious. Because space is what the world’s most in-demand–and highest paid–DJ needs. Seriously, these folks usually work in a four-by-four space amidst flashing lights and thumping beats. The new home is huge, as described by Variety.

“The 2.66-acre property encompasses 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in 18,000 square feet of interior space that includes a newly constructed main house with four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. A single-story guesthouse near the gated entrance has a private pool and spa, while a second and also newly-constructed two-story guesthouse perched on the hillside above the main house has sweeping canyon views. Multi-level staff quarters are equipped with commercial grade elevator and three-car garage and, carved into the hillside behind the house, a series of decks and terraces surround the compound’s second swimming pool and spa.”

As much as Calvin Harris seemingly flips girlfriends like he does real estate, maybe his goal is to make sure all of his ex’s all have a room in the new estate whenever he hosts gatherings. He recently dumped singer Rita Ora unceremoniously on Twitter with an emoji, and has been seen possibly dating Aarika Wolf, who starred in his latest video for the hit, “Blame”.

Harris, who, as reported in July by The Inquisitr, was named by Forbes as one of the world’s most powerful celebrities, hitting number 21 on the list. And the sky is the limit for the 30-year old. His song, “Summer,” was recently named the most played song of, well, summer on Spotify, and “Blame” hit the charts at #1.

One thing is certain, purchasing luxurious Beverly Hills real estate like a regular person buys groceries puts Calvin Harris in rarified air, and short of a backlash for his handling of the breakup with Ora, “there’s no stopping him right now” to paraphrase one of his first hits, “Feel So Close.” Calvin Harris’ star continues to rise and there seems to be no end in sight to how high he can fly.
