Pop star Beyonce was speaking with an Australian TV show this week when she announced the due date for her first child.
Beyonce didn’t give the exact date but said she’s due on February 2012 an that her and husband/rapper Jay-Z couldn’t be happier about the arrival of their little bundle of joy.
After announcing the month her baby will be born Beyonce said:
My husband [ Jay-Z ] and I have been together for 10 years. All of my 20s. I feel like it is time [for a baby] … I am very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift a human being can have. Because I have accomplished a lot of things for myself and I really know who I am, I didn’t rush into anything. If there is any time, right now is the time, and I am so happy.
