It’s Over For Juan Pablo, Nikki Ferrell: ‘I Wouldn’t Move To Miami’

Couples Therapy didn’t seem to help former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis and his girlfriend, Nikki Ferrell’s relationship, but it did make it painfully obvious that a break-up may happen sooner than later. The couple, who recently finished filming the VH1 reality show, seem to be drifting apart. In an interview with the Boston Herald, Nikki made it clear that she will not move to Miami to live closer to Galavis.

Ferrell made light of the fact that she doesn’t want to move to Miami by blaming it on the weather, but it’s a no-brainer that Nikki is being cautious about her relationship with Juan Pablo. Without an “I love you” and a firm commitment, she’s staying put.

“There isn’t a move planned… there are people to consider on both sides. I wouldn’t move to Miami, though. I don’t look cute in all that humidity!”

Apparently appearing on a reality show for the second time did nothing more than line the couple’s pockets with extra cash. Juan has yet to say “I love you” to Nikki and she freely admits that a long-distance relationship “isn’t easy.” Easy or not, Juan Pablo doesn’t seem to care at all, telling Dr. Jenn Berman on Couples Therapy, “I haven’t thought about it” when asked about their future as a couple.

After six months of long-distance dating, Nikki tells the Boston Herald that she has no plans to leave her job and friends in Kansas City and refuses to move to Florida. It’s impossible to imagine how this relationship is ever going to work out, especially since Juan Pablo doesn’t seem eager to move away from Miami where his young daughter, Camilla lives.

WetPaint states that, because he shares custody with his ex, moving out of state would mean he would have a long-distance relationship with his daughter — and that’s not going to happen

Chances are, Nikki and Juan Pablo will continue to date long-distance for the sake of the perks that often come along with reality TV exposure, including paid appearances at nightclubs and vacation spots. But those perks seem to be something Juan Pablo is enjoying a lot more than his girlfriend.

On Couples Therapy, Ferrell states that she struggles with the negativity that comes along with the fame, but she also does well with what should be a big positive — her fans. While she states that Juan Pablo has no problem posing for photos with fans when they are spotted out in public, she does. In fact, she calls their requests “extremely rude.”

Do you think Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell are on the brink of a break-up or will they continue their long distance relationship until they realize their fame has fizzled out?
