Was Kendall Jenner Bullied By Catwalk Queens, Models Loathe The Kardashian Cakewalk?

Was Kendall Jenner bullied?

New rumors claim that Kendall Jenner is the victim of bullying, but not by the usual culprits. Instead, sources say the aspiring model was bullied by catwalk queens who didn’t take kindly to a rumored career boost from her famous family’s name.

From the looks of it, Kendall’s quest to distance herself from her Keeping Up with the Kardashians family by dropping her last name is not producing a good return on investment. Recall recently when the 18-year-old followed in the footsteps of Cher, Madonna, and Iman — other celebrities known for their single reference name — to build a brand on her own? Well, it’s having its own set of challenges and is need of some tweaking.

According to a source with In Touch, Kendall Jenner was bullied and got a touch of “the business” from other high-fashion models during New York’s Fashion Week. Their beef is that Kendall, unlike them, has not paid her dues and put in the work. Furthermore, they frowned at the very thought of another family member linked with the Kardashians snaking their way to the top.

Radar Online quoted a source on the Kendall Jenner bullying rumors, and described how some of the models agreed to “mess” with the newbie.

“They started acting so bitchy — some even put out their cigarettes in Kendall’s drink! Models can be cruel, especially with someone new and entitled. The other models worked so hard to get a spot on the runway and didn’t think it was fair that she was there. They thought she was getting special treatment and just weren’t okay with it.”

It seems having the last name of Jenner and Kardashian is bittersweet, but Kendall is hellbent on moving ahead and swimming in the deep end of the ocean. But even if she crosses that hurdle, she still is not super-excited about her connection to Kim’s famous — infamous at times — husband, claims the insider.

“People didn’t want to take a chance on me, I think because I was sort of known. They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder,” Kendall said in a recent interview.”

Kendall Jenner has not spoken out publicly about the bullying claims by a fellow models. But like many other organizations (sororities, fraternities, sports and the Armed Forces), it’s not unusual for the new kid on the block to go through an initiation ceremony — a rite of passage, if you will. However, when it rises to the occasion of hazing or worse, it’s unacceptable… period.
