Actress Jenna Fischer and her husband Lee Kirk proudly welcomed the birth of their first son, Weston Lee on September 24th, a rep for the couple has confirmed.
“Mom and baby are doing great,” the rep added.
Fischer, better known as Pam Halpert on NBC’s hit comedy series The Office, revealed her pregnancy back in May and then two months revealed the baby’s gender during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
“This is the second grandchild, but it’s the first grandson,” Jenna said of her growing belly, back in July.
As fans of “The Office” know, writers incorporated Jenna’s real-life pregnancy into the show this season, as Pam is currently pregnant with her second child with Dunder Mifflin husband Jim (John Krasinski).
“Pam and Jim snuck away last season on Valentine’s Day, and they had sex,” Fischer, 37, said at the time. “The story is that they conceived this baby at that time and were keeping it a secret until we come back from the summer.”
With news of baby Weston arriving and given the show’s production is only a few episodes ahead of what has aired thus far, it’s probably a safe bet to say Pam will be absent on screen later this fall.
