But despite America’s dominance throughout the tournament, Serbia’s players said they aren’t backing down.

“We’re not going to be scared for sure,” said former NBA center Nenad Krstic, who scored 24 points in a 90-85 victory over France to put Serbia into the championship game.

“Now our confidence is high and OK, we have a chance, maybe some players never get this chance to play against U.S., great U.S. team in the final of the World Cup. It’s an unbelievable chance to do something great in our lives.”

Fans watching the Team USA vs. Serbia basketball game live online won’t be seeing a sure thing by any means. The United States has looked quite shaky at times, especially in the first half of games. So far they have been able to flip a switch in the third and fourth quarters to win games by 20 or 30 points, but may not be able to do that against Serbia.

For some American players, it’s a bit of a disappointment not to be playing Spain in the championship. The tournament’s host country is stacked with NBA talent, but failed to make it out of the quarterfinals.
