Kathy Wakile Proves That She Can Compete With Bestselling Teresa Giudice

Kathy Wakile always talked about her passion for creating desserts when she was filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and all of the fans watching the show were curious about trying those nationwide famous cannolis. While she was always about the sweets, her cousin, Teresa Giudice, was all about cooking those authentic Italian dishes.

Wakile and Giudice may have feuded on the show, but it sounds like their feud will now be in the form of cookbooks. Not only has Wakile published her first cookbook for fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey to compete with her cousin, but Teresa Giudice is also starting to dabble a little in desserts.

According to a new Bravo report, Kathy Wakile has proven that she can hold her own. Even though she was only on the show for a couple of seasons and didn’t have a dramatic storyline, Wakile can still sell books. Perhaps viewers are super excited to get their hands on her book which features 75 recipes of her favorite treats, including Caramel Apple Ravioli and Strawberry Shortcake Puffs.

Kathy Wakile’s dessert book, Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet, is a hit. It debuted in the Top 10 on Publishers Weekly’s Nonfiction List, even though the book has only been on the market for less than two weeks. Kathy could not be happier.

“Humbled & Grateful! Thank You to all that made this possible!” Wakile tweeted after learning about the news.

“I had so much fun during this process, cooking and sharing my creations is both a joy and therapy for me,” Kathy revealed before publishing her book.

According to The Inquisitr, Kathy had a good chance in competing with Teresa Giudice. Teresa has released several cookbooks over the years, but nothing in the field of desserts. On this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa reveals that she has to work to help pay the bills because of their expensive legal fees. Therefore, Giudice is now adding desserts to her collection. Plus, Kathy Wakile had admitted to playing around with appetizer ideas, so she could be grabbing some of her cousin’s readers.

Kathy has admitted that she has tried to reach out to her cousin to support her during this tough time, but has gotten little in return. Wakile said that she can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. But there have been some speculations that Teresa is jealous of Kathy Wakile in some regards.
