Heather Locklear Turns 50, Rules Out Reality Show

Heather Locklear must be one of the best-looking 50-year-olds about. She hit the 5-0 landmark on Sunday, just six weeks after getting engaged to her former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner.

Locklear also dismissed the idea of a reality show starring her and Wagner. According to Limelife, the couple briefly explored the idea, with Wagner particularly keen on a family show to include the two sons he had with ex-wife Kristina Malandro and Locklear’s 14-year-old daughter from her marriage to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora.

Locklear reportedly shot the concept down, as she considers herself a little above the reality TV spotlight. According to one of Limelife’s sources:

“She considers herself a serious actress, and the thought of letting lights and cameras into her home in the morning before she puts on her makeup really fills her with dread.”

Locklear’s engagement to Wagner follows her marriage with Sambora and a seven-year marriage to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee from 1986 until 1993. She was named one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People twice, first in 1994, and again in 2001.

Would you watch a Locklear and Wagner reality show, or would the idea be best ignored, given the history of such shows?
