Kaley Cuoco Rocks Awesome Lipstick: Will It Be The Next Big Color?

Kaley Cuoco should rock bright lipstick more often.

The Big Bang Theory star recently posted an Instagram photo in which she’s wearing a neon pink-purple shade of lipstick. This isn’t the first time Kaley has flirted with such a vibrant color, but her short haircut really makes the fun shade really shine. It also brightens up her whole face.

Kaley Cuoco’s lip color looks a bit like radiant orchid, which the Chicago Tribune calls the “It” color of this year. However, her hue has a little more pink in it. She’s rocking it with a black tank top, giving her look a bit of a punk rock edge. Kaley’s pink lipstick really pops against the dark color, and the overall effect might have you wishing that Penny would adopt the style on The Big Bang Theory. As The Inquistr reported, she is getting a new haircut and a new job, so wouldn’t now be the perfect time to continue her transformation with bolder makeup?

Luckily for those who immediately fell in love with Kaley Cuoco’s pink lip, the actress was kind enough to reveal the color. She posted a second Instagram photo with an up close look at her lips, and she shared the lipstick brand and color in the caption.

According to The Daily Mail, Avon’s Ultra Color Bold Lipstick in Magenta Flash features “Pigment Loading Technology.” Lisa Lamberty, director of new product innovation at Avon Research and Development, revealed that the lipstick was actually formulated to look good in photos.

“We created Ultra Color Bold lipstick because we know women want deep bold color to accentuate their lips and make them look their best in photos.”

Cuoco loves taking selfies, so it’s definitely the right lipstick for her. And because it’s being marketed as a product that’s perfect for pictures, it could really catch on with the beauty-conscious social media crowd.

Celebrity makeup artist Mikey Phillips shared a few lipstick-related selfie tips with The Mail, so you might want to try them the next time you want to show off your bold new lip color. For a more natural look, he advises to skip the lip liner. Instead use your lipstick and a lip brush to line your pout. He had another great trick that will help you cut back on the amount of beauty products you use: replace your blush with your lipstick. Just tap it on the apples of your cheeks with your fingertips.
