Jai Brooks is trying his best not to dwell on Ariana Grande these days. Of course, that’s probably more than a little difficult considering her budding relationship with hip-hop artist Big Sean is making all sorts of headlines this week.
However, Brooks isn’t letting that stuff get him down. Instead of shedding a bucket of tears directly into a Grande-oriented scrapbook, he crafted in his spare time. Jai is focusing on his tour with the Janoskians. In fact, he recently told MTV News that everything is swell following their breakup. That’s called accentuating the positive, kids.
Jai Brooks opened up about the painful split during a recent conversation with the folks at Capital FM . If the guy spends his evenings weeping under the cover while listening to “Problem” on repeat, then he kept that slice of info to himself. According to Brooks, he’s doing pretty good after saying goodbye to the singer for the second time.

In fact, Brooks said everything is all “good.” What a trooper.
“I’m just focused on our movie and our upcoming tour. I’m not going to let emotions get in the way of anything, that’s for sure, because we are too damn busy right now and I’m just moving on, chilling with the boys, getting closer with our fans. So yeah, I’m okay.”
In fact, Jai Brooks is so okay, he’s currently on the prowl for another girl. Pop Crush points out that the singer and YouTube comedian already has someone in mind, though this individual is essentially just a handful of personality traits at this point. However, at least the guy is focusing on the future instead of dwelling on the past.
“I like a girl that will allow me to be myself without getting pissed off 24/7, and that has my sense of humor. My sense of humor is pretty different to other peoples, so if I can find a girl with a matching sense of humor then I think we would go on a date.”
Here’s hoping poor Jai isn’t spending too much time reading entertainment headlines these days. The Inquisitr previously reported that Ariana Grande is currently getting cozy with Big Sean, as evidenced by their hand-holding session at the 2014 MTV VMAs.

Despite their best efforts to keep the relationship a secret, Wetpaint reports that the couple was caught getting affectionate during the ceremony.
“After winning the moonman for ‘Best Pop Video’ for ‘Problem,’ Ariana was spotted with Big Sean backstage with their hands interlocked… The duo was spotted holding hands on the backstage livestream at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Nice job trying to hide the romance, you guys, but the jig is up!”
Hopefully Jai Brooks wasn’t paying too much attention to that story, either.
