Chris Soules Is ‘The Bachelor’: Arie Luyendyk Jr. Confirms The News On Twitter

Chris Soules is The Bachelor 2015, but most people already knew that, right? Well, after weeks of confirmations from every source imaginable, one particular source has people finally believing the rumors. Arie Luyendyk Jr. took to his Twitter account on Tuesday to concede, if you will. According to Us Weekly, Soules is the next guy that ABC has chosen to find love on national television.

Chris Soules hasn’t tweeted about being The Bachelor 2015 but he has been watching Bachelor In Paradise. As a matter of fact, last night Chris tweeted about his buddy, Cody Sattler, whom he met on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette.

Chris is likely prohibited from speaking about The Bachelor until after ABC makes the official announcement. While he still won’t be able to say much, he may take to social media to thank his fans for their support.

Of course Reality Steve confirmed this news weeks ago. According to The Inquisitr, ABC was waiting to make an announcement, more than likely during a television special. Many believed that ABC will have Chris make an appearance on the finale of Bachelor In Paradise, which should end the show on a strong note ratings-wise. However, according to Huffington Post, an announcement is expected to be made on Wednesday, Aug. 27 — yes, tomorrow — on Good Morning America.

It’s unknown if Chris Soules will be on-hand for the big reveal, but it’s likely. If he’s not there in person, he might be on the show via satellite. Either way, people are going to finally get an answer from ABC and should be able to see Chris on television again.

The 32-year-old farmer from Arlington, Iowa, has reportedly already started filming for the new season of The Bachelor which is expected to air on ABC some time in January. Twenty-five very lucky women are going to get the chance to meet Soules, and fewer will get a chance to actually date him. Ah, dreams.

Will you be tuning in to the new season of The Bachelor? Are you happy that Chris Soules will be taking the helm?
