Aaron Paul Teases ‘Breaking Bad’ Scavenger Hunt

Breaking Bad fans in Los Angeles are in for a treat, as Aaron Paul — aka Jesse Pinkman — announced a Breaking Bad scavenger hunt set on Monday just before the Emmy Awards is scheduled to take place. Paul announced the exciting news on Instagram.

“Dear friends, In honor of the Emmys and the final time ‘Breaking Bad’ will be up for anything at the Emmys I will be holding a scavenger hunt around LA on Monday before the Emmys for all of you ‘Breaking Bad’ fans. There will be signed ‘Breaking Bad’ scripts, posters, dolls, action figures and some really cool ‘Breaking Bad’ art hidden all over the Hollywood area. Just wanted to do a little something to say “Thank You” to everyone that has supported us thru out the years. We couldn’t have done it without you! Happy hunting, Ap”

Time reports that the scavenger hunt will start at 11 am on Monday.

Breaking Bad, which aired its series finale episode on September 29 last year, is up for its final awards this year. The series has been nominated 49 times at the Primetime Emmy Awards, with 11 wins.

Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White, won three consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series from 2008 to 2010. Meanwhile, Paul has already won two Emmys for Outstanding Supporting actor in 2010 and 2012, and is nominated again at this year’s Emmys.

According to Variety, this isn’t the first scavenger hunt Paul has arranged. During the series’ final episode run, Paul created a scavenger hunt and hid 20 tickets in Hollywood to the Breaking Bad finale screening with himself and Cranston. He also did the same in Boise, Idaho, where lucky fans were treated to watch a live stream of Breaking Bad.

As The Inquisitr previously reported, Paul and Cranston teamed up again to film an Emmy promotion video with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The response to the video was tremendously positive, and fans took to Twitter to say how much they enjoyed the video and how they missed the duo on screen.

Fans gearing up to get ready for the scavenger hunt can monitor Aaron Paul’s Twitter account, as he will be tweeting the prize locations.

Meanwhile, Breaking Bad fans are anxious awaiting the spin-off series Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk as everyone’s favorite lawyer, Saul Goodman. The series will be premiering in February next year, and has already been renewed for a second season.
