‘Real Housewives’: Popular Husband Wants Out, His Wife Might Go As Well

A popular husband in the Real Housewives franchise wants out, judging from frustrations he recently voiced. It may not be only Dr. Terry Dubrow who leaves the Real Housewives of Orange County franchise, but his wife as well.

Terry Dubrow reveals where he’s at right now in terms of returning to the show in season 10.

“It was a weird season,” Terry tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “As of right now, I don’t want to go back next season. No way. But that remains to be seen. I mean, I have my own TV show and I’m busy working on that — I have no idea.”

Terry jokingly tells the entertainment news site that Heather would “kill him”if she knew he was talking about their future plans on RHOC. Dr. Dubrow and his wife had a bad experience with the Beadors, the newcomers on RHOC. It wasn’t the best experience in the world for them — not that being a Housewives star is a walk in the park to begin with.

Terry has a hit docu-reality series on E! about plastic surgeries that require good doctors to fix what patients are unhappy with. The show is called Botched and it stars Dr. Paul Nassif, a former Real Housewives husband. The show has just been renewed for a second season.

Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif will have a lot more demanded of them in season 2, Wetpaint reports. Dubrow hinted that “TV opportunities” in the way of “health, wellness, and beauty” genre could be coming to E!.

The season 9 finale of RHOC is Monday night. It’s hard to know if either of them will return for season 10. The Dubrows are extremely busy. Heather’s acting career is doing well, and Terry has a hit reality show that centers around his profession. If all that isn’t enough, the couple are in the middle of building a 20,000-square-foot house.

Dr. Dubrow doesn’t completely rule out returning on RHOC next season as he notes:

“If we do another season of Real Housewives, you will see this house really come together. It’s a masterpiece. This is going to be my crowning achievement in terms of non-plastic surgery and non-family things. We’re creating something really special.”

There’s always someone from the franchise that says they’re not coming back for another season once the previous one wrapped. This is usually due to hard feelings with cast-mates or it’s their way of venting publicly.
