Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez attended a bible study meet together Wednesday, according to a witness.

Justin Bieber and on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez attended a bible study class Wednesday night in Los Angeles, according to a well-placed witness.

The former couple got together hours after the Canadian star’s lawyers entered a guilty plea on his behalf, to careless driving and resisting arrest without violence in a Florida DUI case.

After seven months of world attention and legal battling following Bieber’s January 23 arrest on suspicion of DUI, it’s perhaps small wonder the 20-year-old found himself in a church the day a judge formally accepted a plea deal in a court hearing.

“God is good,” Bieber posted on Twitter late Wednesday, August 13.

On Thursday, the singer tweeted:

And according to one routinely media-cited Twitter eyewitness, Gomez was right by Bieber’s side in church.

Teen twitter celebrity Stalker Sarah wrote: “Bible Study.” She added, “Justin & Selena met at church & left together.Think what u want but as u all know they’ve been friends for yrs, I just love seeing them happy.”

When some fans criticised the blogger for not taking photos of the famous pair to prove her claim, Sarah retweeted a follower who asked, “Who takes pictures in church?”

Asked for her view on how Bieber and Gomez interacted with each other, Sarah claimed:

“She had her arm around him with his head resting on her shoulder.”

One post reveals the “Baby” singer and former Disney starlet were joined at bible study by Justin’s pal, Ryan Good, and the actress Francia Raisa.

Despite contradictory gossip reports claiming the pair are either “done,” or that Gomez is “embarrassed” for Bieber after his clash with Orlando Bloom, or desperate to date, word is the twosome took a trip to the movies after Sunday’s Teen choice Awards on August 10.

With last night’s bible study rendezvous, it’s not unreasonable to speculate that a romance is back on. And here’s a thought: it may never have ended. On the other hand, the church date could have been two old friends giving thanks for the end of just one of Bieber’s legal sagas.

In addition to his guilty plea, Justin must complete a 12 hour anger management course, pay $50,000 to a local charity – which has already been made – and a $500 fine. Probation, jail and drug testing were avoided.

Back in July, after Bieber and Gomez’s slew of June dates (one of which was bible study) appeared to come to an abrupt halt, a source told E! News:

“There will forever be an emotional connection for them, but they don’t have a title to their relationship.”

Of the couple, who began dating in 2010, the insider added: “He is not her boyfriend, but the feelings are always going to be there.”

Our take? Recalling the fuss made by fans — both pro and con — and media in June when they went public, is it surprising Bieber and Gomez are keeping whatever this is, under the radar?
