Nina Dobrev Is ‘Just Fine’ With Ian Somerhalder’s New Relationship With Nikki Reed

Nina Dobrev has been the topic of many rumors since news broke that her ex, Ian Somerhalder and close friend, Nikki Reed, began dating. While Ian and Nikki reportedly are waiting around for Nina’s blessings, a source close to the Vampire Diaries star claims that Nina is just fine with the new relationship.

According to the celebrity gossip site, Hollywood Life, a source close to Nina has come forward and claimed that Nina is just fine with Ian and Nikki’s relationship and that she doesn’t want relationships to get in the way of her work:

“If Ian and Nikki are happy, then Nina is fine with it,” a source tells Hollywood Life exclusively. “Nina just has to live her life and the fact that Ian is still in it is not under her control, it’s just business. She refuses to allow emotions take over a paycheck.”

While many rumors have stated that Nina has been partying in order to block out all the Ian and Nikki news, The Inquisitr reported that the Vampire Diaries star decided to fight back by posting a photo of her many “boyfriends.” The photograph was of her surrounded by a few of her Vampire Diaries costars:

The photo was captioned with: “Apparently I have SOOOO many boyfriends. Here’s four more. I’m so busy. #tabloidsillyness”

The source for Hollywood Life continued on to say that regardless of the feelings Nina had about Ian, she knows that their break up isn’t the end of her world:

“She knows that she will be dating someone someday and she will want to be treated the way she treats others,” the source adds. “She is going to be nothing but cordial and respectful when it comes to Ian and Nikki because in her mind, it’s the right thing to do.”

If Hollywood Life‘s source is correct, we are happy to know that Nina Dobrev is ready to move forward, because it looks like Ian’s relationship with Nikki is only moving faster each and every day. In another report by The Inquisitr, Ian and Nikki decided that it was time they seal their relationship with an adoption. Instead of a human, The Inquisitr reported that Ian and Nikki decided to adopt a horse together.

Things didn’t move this fast between Ian and Nina, but that’s all in the past. Now that Nina has accepted her single status, she’s indicated that the tabloids need to accept it as well:

“I laugh at it at this point. Honestly, I need to get, like, a steady boyfriend so people can stop speculating.”
