Lisa Vanderpump Explains Return To Volatile ‘Real Housewives’

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump has decided to return to the show, even though she felt attacked last year. She had been filming with her former best friend, Brandi Glanville, who decided to call her out on several things she felt were lies. Vanderpump was shocked and stormed off in tears several times.

Brandi was quick to sign on to another season of the show, because she has been using the show to launch new business ventures. She wrote a second bestselling book and she has been working on a line of wines. But with Glanville on the show again, it was questionable whether Lisa Vanderpump would want to return.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump has signed on to film another season of the show and she is now explaining her decision to return. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was rather volatile for her, so it is surprising that she is returning.

“There was a lot of meanness,” Lisa Vanderpump admitted. “Yes, I know. I did really take the brunt of that, and it was not easy to go through… At times, I did question my sanity for going back this year.” Lisa has issues with Brandi, but Kyle Richards has also been questioning her friendship with Lisa.

“Well, I was under contract at Bravo, and for the most part I’d had a good experience,” Vanderpump reveals. She got to use The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to promote her two restaurants and her new bar, P.U.M.P. Plus, Lisa Vanderpump got to travel with her husband. Perhaps she made a list of pros and cons and decided it was worth going back.

“I’d done something like 140 episodes. So for the most part, it’s been incredible — it really has. It’s given me such an opportunity to talk about the things I’m passionate about… You know, because I’m a huge supporter of the LGBT community, children with alopecia, Keep the Memory Alive, all those things, so that’s been really, really helpful, and I’ve had a lot of fun doing it. I really have. But last season it was hard,” Vanderpump adds.

Lisa Vanderpump won’t be filming the show alone. According to The Inquistir, Vanderpump has bonded with new housewife, Lisa Rinna. The two ladies have apparently been getting along as they have been filming various scenes together. At least Lisa will have a support system this time around.
