Phaedra Parks Divorce Rumors: Is She Secretly Helping Apollo Nida By Staying On ‘RHOA’?

Rumors about Phaedra Parks divorcing Apollo Nida are still running rampant. Is there a possibility that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is remaining on the show to help him? According to Life & Style, that’s exactly why. An insider tells the mag that the “real reason” Parks is staying on with RHOA has to do with her helping Nida pay back millions to his fraud victims.

Apollo was recently convicted of bank fraud and identity theft; he’ll serve an eight-year prison sentence — plus pay back millions. Now a new rumor suggests Phaedra will assist her husband in that department.

A source tells Life & Style magazine:

“She’s going to help Apollo pay that money back.”

According to Gossip Cop, however, it’s “more likely” that Phaedra will divorce Apollo. The report states:

“It’s more likely that Parks and Nida will divorce, with a source close to the situation telling us they’d be ‘shocked’ if Parks gave Nida the millions he needs to pay back victims of his fraud.”

On the 1 to 10 meter the website has, which assures their readers of what capacity rumors fall in, this one is at a “3.” Usually when the site is downright certain about a rumor being false, it’s at a “0.” So, does that mean there’s a slight chance the RHOA star is going to help her husband pay back the millions he owes?

Phaedra wasn’t present for her husband’s sentencing in late July. He expressed his bitterness over Phaedra in an interview. He doesn’t believe that his marriage will last through his jail sentence and is “salty” about the fact his wife wasn’t there to support him when he learned what his sentence would be.

Phaedra Parks hasn’t hinted either way if she plans to divorce Apollo. Some of her actions have made fans wonder about her plans. A few days ago, speculations emerged that the “southern belle” is taking a leave of absence from Real Housewives, that is, until it was reported by TMZ that she isn’t. She’s just taking a little time to focus on family business. Multiple sources claim Parks is “holding her head up high” and putting her children first.

In the meantime, Apollo Nida is filming as many scenes on RHOA as he can until he goes to prison.
