Vanessa Hudgens Young Hollywood: Vanessa (And Abs), Honored With Trendsetter Of The Year Award

Vanessa Hudgens attended the Young Hollywood Awards where she was named Trendsetter Of The Year. According to The Huffington Post, the 25-year-old actress attended the event in Los Angeles on July 27, looking quite, well, trendy. Hudgens, who walked the red, er, blue carpet solo, wore a blue crop top, showing off her incredible abs. She paired the top with white, high-waisted pants that resembled a long, flowy skirt.

Vanessa wore her hair short and showed off her brown to blonde ombre. She accessorized with tons of bangles, rings, and a feather clutch. Her nude nails were also a hit, clearly proving that VHudge really deserved the award that she was honored with!

Vanessa Hudgens didn’t attend the Young Hollywood event alone, however. Despite posing for photos and “blowing kisses to fans” by herself, Vanessa brought her little sister, Stella Hudgens, with her to the fun event. According to Us Weekly, Stella also dressed to impress in a short, low-cut jumpsuit. Evidently Vanessa’s super chic style is rubbing off (no word on whether or not Vanessa helped Stella pick out her award show outfit).

VHudge is always changing up her look and experimenting with new things. In fact, the Gimme Shelter star dyed pieces of her hair a blue-green color just last month. According to The Inquisitr, Vanessa has previously admitted that she’s a big fan of hair chalk. That would explain why she changes her hair color around so much (although the ombre blonde that she sported at the YHA’s was likely done by a professional).

Vanessa recently shot the Fall 2014 ad campaign for Bongo — and she went make-up free in the photos! She says that she’s hoping to send a positive message to girls about image — and she’s hoping that her pictures remain unretouched (via Huffington Post).

“This is my second season working with Bongo and it’s been such a treat! The clothes really make me feel carefree and confident, which is why I love that the final ad images are unretouched. It’s so important for girls to remember that real beauty shines from within and I’m so proud that Bongo is choosing to send such a positive message with this campaign.”
