Beyonce Knowles Reason For Not Attending Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Revealed

The real reason for Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z’s absence from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding has finally been revealed.

An insider told the New York Post that rather than being too busy to attend the service, Beyonce actually didn’t want to have a hand in helping Kim climb up the social ladder any further.

“They are guarding like hell their status,” the source noted. “Beyonce wasn’t going to allow a Kardashian to socially climb her.”

Meanwhile it was also revealed that Jay Z has told Kanye that he doesn’t think that he should be with Kim. He’s even gone as far as to proclaim that it has affected his reputation as a rapper.

“Jay didn’t want Kaye with Kim – he thinks it’s bad for business,” the source continued. “I think Jay lost a little respect for Kanye there.”

Ever since Kim and Kanye married various reasons for why Jay Z and Beyonce didn’t attend have been provided. Kris Jenner, Kim’s mother, told an Australian radio station just last month when quizzed about why they didn’t come, “I just assumed they were working.”

Even Kanye himself has recently spoken about the duo not being in attendance, but the rapper insisted that he wasn’t bothered one little bit by the fact they weren’t there. During a recent interview with GQ, which will be published in the upcoming issue, West admitted that he was only bothered about Kim’s arrival.

“It doesn’t even matter to me whatsoever, who should show up,” he confided. “Because the most important people to show up there, to me, was Kim. And that’s all that matters to me. I had to fight for that for seven years.”

However, even though she didn’t want to actually attend their wedding, Beyonce still found time to post a message to her Instagram page that praised the duo and their infant daughter, North West. “Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love,” she wrote,” God bless your beautiful family.” She then accompanied this with a picture of the threesome.

It looks as though there is quite a rivalry brewing between the foursome. Kim also appeared to make a sly dig at Jay Z and Beyonce’s tour attire when she uploaded her own picture of Kanye wearing a ski-mask, a garment that the twosome have been wearing throughout their On The Run Tour, but reminded her followers that he wore it last year.
