Harry Styles Disappoints Ashton Irwin By Not Getting Naked
Harry Styles used to have a habit of stripping down and running around, but a member of 5 Seconds of Summer recently revealed that Hazza doesn’t get naked as much as he used to. Because 5 Seconds of Summer is supporting 1D during the group’s ‘Where We Are’ tour, this means that the boy bands have to spend a lot of time together. And what do guys do when they’re bored and stuck in a tour bus or hotel? They play pranks on each other, of course!
During an interview with Live From MTV, 5SOS drummer Ashton Irwin was asked if there’s been a repeat of an incident from last year that involved a naked Harry Styles throwing fruit at him. Irwin said that he hadn’t been attacked by the serial streaker, but he admitted that he missed seeing the One Direction singer prancing around in his birthday suit:
“No, naked Harry Styles, which is a bit disappointing. It’s a decrease of nudity on the tour this year.”
However, spending time with Harry Styles and Co. has still turned out to be exciting for Ashton Irwin and the other members of 5 Seconds of Summer, a boy band that actually plays instruments. Their connection to One Direction has made Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford almost as popular as their tour mates.
Of course, it helps that the members of 5SOS have a playful sense of humor similar to that of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan. Just like the goofball members of One Direction, the 5SOS foursome loves to fool around.
According to Unreality TV, Luke Hemmings recently pulled a Hazza by sharing a naked photo on Twitter (don’t worry — he covered himself up with a towel). He used the pic as a ploy to score more votes in the MTV Hottest poll, and it looks like his plan worked.
Fans of 5 Seconds of Summer wasted no time getting hashtags like #LUKEDROPTHETOWEL and #LukeIsNakedFollowParty trending on Twitter. It looks like Harry Styles might not be the most popular bare-naked boy band star for much longer.
The 5SOS boys aren’t just experiencing success on social media. They just released their self-titled album, they’re set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards, and they got nominated for their first VMA in the Artist to Watch category. Calum Hood was so excited about performing at the show that he made his fans a promise that involves nudity (of course):

The guys have also made one member of One Direction just a bit jealous. As The Inquisitr previously reported, Liam Payne admires his tour mates’ mastery of their instruments:
“I am a bit jealous of them. I am working on learning to play now but I wish I had put the time in like they did when they were kids.”
Harry Styles hasn’t admitted that he’s jelly of 5SOS just yet, but he might be keeping a close eye on Ashton Irwin. According to a MailOnline report, Ashton might be dating Harry’s sister Gemma. Could you imagine the ovary exploding that would occur if Hazza and Ashton became in-laws?
